Louella Neely, 93, of Janesville, WI died Monday, October 3, 2011 at Rock Haven Nursing Home. She was born in Crawford, County, WI on November 3, 1917, the daughter of Lewis and Eva (Whitney) Salmon. She married William Earl Neely on March 14, 1936 in Soldiers Grove. He died February 12, 1988. Louella was formerly employed by U. S. Gypsun Co. Following retirement, she moved to Janesville.

Surviving are 4 children, Cecil (Jenny) Neely, Patricia (Nathan) Johnston with whom she resided in Janesville for the past 2 ½ years, Patsy (Frank) McCormick, Larry (Jean) Neely, 1 brother, Kenneth Salmon, 18 grandchildren, Kevin, Kim, Kari, Kelly, Kristin, Karen and Kathleen (Neely) Lonnie, Jean, Carol, Jim and Janet (Johnston), Maureen, Morna, Monica and Kathleen (McCormick), Lisa and Larry (Neely), 32 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and her many friends from First Senior Apartments where she resided for several years prior to her health failing. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister, 1 brother-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Soldiers Grove United Methodist Church. Rev. Lorie Betz will officiate. Burial will be in Manning Cemetery, rural Readstown. Memorials may be made to the Soldiers Grove Volunteer Fire Department and First Responders. The family was assisted by Henke-Clarson Funeral Home. www.henkeclarson.com.
